  • Jobs use compute minutes: job minutes x the machine type's cost factor. Factors: Linux x86-64 small 1, medium 2, large 3, xlarge 6, 2xlarge 12; GPU medium 7; Linux Arm64 small 1, medium 2, large 3; macOS M1 medium 6, M2 Pro large 12; Windows medium 1.
  • Additional compute minutes cost $10 per 1,000, a one-time purchase on any plan. Sizes with cost factor 1 are listed at that rate; other sizes show no per-minute price because GitLab publishes only the cost factor.
  • Included compute minutes per month: Free 400, Premium 10,000 ($29 per user a month, billed annually), Ultimate 50,000 (custom price). The quota is per top-level group, not per user.
  • Linux x86-64 large and up, Linux Arm64 medium and large, GPU and macOS runners need Premium or Ultimate.
  • macOS and Windows hosted runners are in beta. Windows VMs take about five minutes to provision.
  • Public projects in the GitLab for Open Source program use a cost factor of 0.5.
  • Using hosted runners requires a verified credit or debit card (a $1 authorization, not charged).
