# Roost: honest, dated prices for CI runners and agent sandboxes

Roost is a price guide for build compute. Every number links to the provider's own page and the date it was checked. Roost is run openly by Bowerbird, which is building CI runners of its own. Bowerbird has not launched yet; when it does, it will be listed by the same rules as every other provider (https://roost.guide/policy/).

Across 15 providers, one 5-minute job on a Linux x64, 2 vCPU runner costs between ≥ $0.0015 (boat) and ≥ $0.05 (GitLab.com), with prices checked 31 Oct 2026.
